Tonight! Peace Education Center Fundraiser- Dinner and a Film

2007-10-09

FREE

The 2nd Tuesday of Every Month. 7pm. Serving dinner at 6pm. This month’s film is “The War Tapes”
In March 2004, just as the insurgent movement strengthened, several members of one National Guard unit arrived in Iraq, with cameras. THE WAR TAPES is the result – a uniquely collaborative film, straight from the front lines in Iraq. It’s the first war movie filmed by soldiers themselves. THE WAR TAPES is a complex, heartbreaking, and completely unique opportunity for millions to witness first-person experiences of war—a modern-day Odyssey—and the experience of homecoming.

Live, Fresh Gourmet Dinner and Film

2007-09-27

Happy Fall Day! With the brisk wind surrounding me today, tonight’s meal will be savory themed with Scarborough Fair vegetable soup (yes, it has parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme!), marinated greens and asparagas, savory herb stuffing and pecan pie for dessert! This is all raw (not cooked) and completely delicious! Dinner starts at 6pm and includes your beverage. We will show the film by Victoria Boutenkos called “How Greens Can Save Your Life” starting at 7pm. Hope to see you there!
