Hello and Welcome! We are now open for lunch and most dinners! Our new business hours are Monday and Tuesday 11:30am-3pm and Wednesday thru Saturday 11:30am-11pm. Our kitchen closes at 9pm. We are still featuring our ever popular on-going events such as our Wednesday Open Stage Night, our 2nd Monday of the month Bluegrass Pickin’ Parlor (the one Monday I stay open all day until 11pm), and our East Side Poetry which is now the LAST WEDNESDAY of the month thus sharing the stage with the other artists of Open Stage Night. We are adding new shows for the weekend evenings all the time (please scroll down from here to the upcoming events list). We too, are still offering our tasty 5-course Live, Fresh Gourmet (Raw) Dinner on Thursday evenings at 6pm as well.

Where poets and poetry admirers gather from all walks of life. Held the last Tuesday of every month (except this month it’s tonight due to the holiday) with rotating local poet hosts. 7:30pm sign-up & 8pm reading. $5 cover includes a tea or coffee. Tonight’s poet host is Deena Tyler author of “Ready For Me: Raw and Rough”
Tonight! Live, Fresh Gourmet Asian (Raw) Dinner and Film

Hello! Every Thursday evening between 6 and 8pm at the tea house we offer a live, fresh, gourmet (raw) dinner for $20. This is a 3 to 4 course feast including an amazing dessert and one of our organic and fair-trade teas or tisanes. Reservations are not necessary but are appreciated if you plan on coming after 7:30pm. Tonight’s dinner is an Asian theme. We will be
showing the film “Eating” starting at 6:30pm. Tonight’s menu is:
-Soup: Ginger Thai Soup
-Salad: Marinated Oriental Salad with marinated green beans, napa
cabbage, bok choy, chives,slivered almonds and sesame seeds.
-Entree: Sushi Nori Rolls (fish-free) with avocado, cucumber, red
bell pepper, sprouts, and a carrot, ginger pate. Served with Nama
Shoyu (raw soy sauce) and real wasabi.
-Dessert: Amazing Truffles with Fresh Fruit!
