Tonight’s dinner theme is Oriental…
Appetizer: Vegetable Nori Rolls—avocado, daikon, carrots,
scallions, cucumber, redbell pepper, and sprouts, in a fish-free nori
roll.
Soup: Thai Coconut Curry—a mildly spicy coconut and curry broth
with Thai herbs and spices. People RAVED about this the last time I
made it.
Entree: Stir-Not-Fry –an amazing array of thinly sliced veggies in
a sweet soy and ume vinegar marinade. When you taste this you won’t
be able to understand why anyone would ever want to “fry” veggies
again! It is one of my favorite “raw dishes” and SO completely
delicious the way the marinade blends with the oriental vegetables.
Dessert: I haven’t decided yet but it’ll be yummy……
As always this dinner goes between 6pm and 8 or 8:30pm (it helps if
you’re coming late to call and let us know-487-1822) and is only $20
for the whole thing including beverage and dessert!
